Exclamation Trunk popper doesnt work!!!
The button inside to pop the trunk does nothing. The button on the remote doesnt do anything either. i mean it makes no noise or anything, its like its not trying. i need help!!!!

What fuses would that be exactly? I just looked through my owners manual and none of the fuses have trunk release as a function. I have noticed though, if I have the car running that I cannot pop the trunk with the interior button, I have to shut the car off for it to work. Same for the remote. It may be some kind of safety. Does the trunk still open with the key?

Try popping it from the interior button with the either the doors unlocked, or the door open, not sure which. The driver door needs to be unlocked, or open, else the inside button won't pop the hatch - a safety feature to keep you from accidentally hitting the button while driving.

That doesn't bother me much anyway....just trying to give the guy other reasons why it might not open....I think you're right about the driver's door needing to to be unlocked....

i can drive down the road and pop it with the inside button did it on a long trip while i was stretching....

hrmm.. My 2000 won't let me do it even if its in park just turned on. I never tried it driving down the road.

Spring might be shot. If you hit the button and lift up on the gate, does it open? Or the latch might need some wd40.

yea i dk but i had to pull over and close it cause it was driving me insane. i had to put my shoes back on i was pissed....wont forget that day....cold and ****ty out
