Question Turns over but no spark

Just replaced the motor in a 99 Cougar. It turns over but it's not getting any spark. Put a new coil, new plugs, new wires. Any ideas what I could be missing?
Thanks,
Mark

Do you get fuel?
Check your engine grounds. And make sure all the fuses in the engine compartment are still good.

trace the line that goes to the coil to where ever it goes. im not familiar with it, but that's what i'd look into, since everything after the coil is new.

Re: Turns over but no spark

how do you know for sure your not getting spark? make sure you check all gorunds make sure you check ALL the wiring for splits or loose connections anywhere. MAKE SURE your cranks position sensor is plugged in and that the connection is good the sensor could even be bad, if the crank sensor isnt plugged in, it wont fire spark or fuel... and the cam postion sensor is connected and conection good. do you know if your getting fuel, or if your compression is good, or if the motor is even timed properly? check the connection at the pcm. hoepfully that gives you more ideas
