noise from new suspension (yes I searched)

I just had the BAT Euro kit installed yesterday. Very happy with it...rides and corners great, and sits just enough lower to look good.

Problem is when I turn the wheel 90 degrees or more I hear a clunk from the front suspension, and if I straighten it out and keep moving, it clunks again. You can feel it slightly, but noticeably through the steering wheel. I could be wrong but it almost sounds and feels like it's coming from the springs. I had new mounts put on at the same time, so it shouldn't be those. I did notice when looking at the round black retainer thing at the top of the strut tower from under the hood there is a small gap between the car and the rubber piece now.

I could swear I've read something about this on here, but I just searched for an hour and couldn't find it. I know I need an alignment now (the car's pulling badly to the right now), but I don't think that's the only problem. I'm not the greatest with suspension, so anyone have any ideas or advise?

pull the wheel off and look up in there and see if everything looks good on the springs. there is a chance that when they put the springs in they might have messed up the cv joints on the axles

sound like maybe a bad mount. Could have seperated when they compressed the spring. My rear did this right before my tranny went all to hell. But I wouldn't count out the cv boots like mentioned above.

Re: noise from new suspension (yes I searched)

I am having a similar issue after having a new tranmission installed... so far, the shop cannot figure out what's causing this. Any ideas would be appreciated.

thanks
Greg

Stabilizer link. People always break those when they take them off. Nobody realizes the back have a head to keep it still, and they twist it clear through.

Re: noise from new suspension (yes I searched)

A clunk could also be a ball joint. They may have trashed it taking it apart from the spindle.

Jack the car up and put something long under the wheel and try to pry upwards. If there is any play, it's probably the ball joint.
