Re: car dying problem
dang that sucks, looks like you need a new mechanic. i usually take my car to a local performance shop, there a bit more expensive than the average, but less the dealer. plus i know some of the mechanics and the owner. ha

Re: car dying problem
I know this is old but I forgot to mention what all came of this. Well basically the mechanic that unhooked a few different sensors also Cracked my svt tb by putting it back on too tightly. ford said the sensors werent helping matters but the tb was what made all the different codes pop up. In the end I finally got the place to replace the tb with a brand new one. Sorry for the late update but maybe this will help some peeps in the future.

Re: car dying problem
wow, you can't trust anybody these days. i'm glad to hear the problem wasn't the chip. and more importantly, that you're back on the road.
most shops turn me away, and that's good. they aren't able to work on parts that aren't in the service manual. luckily i found a guy who does good work on all sorts of vehicles, from classics to imports. it doesn't hurt that he races a diesel truck fed 60 psi of boost!
