You may try this (see attached doc at my post Charging/Battery Light Question)

And by the way - this IS the problem - my alt with pulsation lasted for 7 monthes and died. Actually it means that VR of your "new alt" is working not very good - still good to run - but might be dead soon....

oh man... not what I want to hear!

My car also idles a rougher than before... I figured that my O2 sensors may be causing that though. If the alt goes out again, I can only hope it goes out within the warranty period, which I think is 1 year.
