Wobbling Steering Wheel Due To Unbalance Rear Wheel?

Wasnt sure if this was suspension or not.

Well just got front wheels balance a few weeks ago. However, at times the steering wheel wobbles slightly. Just wondering if the rears were not balance could this cause the steering wobble slightly even though the front wheels are balanced?

I would expect an unbalanced rear wheel would be felt through the seat rather than the steering wheel.
    Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

Or could it just be that I need new mounts?

If it was a rear wheel you'd feel it in the seat more. Front wheels would shake the steering wheel.

If you're getting shake in the wheels and they were just balanced I would check to make sure you don't have a damaged rim or warped rotor. I just went through this and had to replace mine, the wheel was balancing, but was off-center.

yup, went through that myself too - try to think back if you've hit any big potholes or maybe a curb? Could very well be a bent wheel.

    Bingo

Shaking in the steering wheel can be caused by one of the following:

Unbalanced front tries (Noticeable at 35+)
    Bent rim (all speeds)
Separated Belt in the tire (5-30mph)

So my next question is when does your steering wheel shake?

heh for me, it was the rear wheel, and it was almost exactly when I hit 60mph... like night and day.
    (not through the steeringwheel though)

I will have to take note. It just happens. Sometimes It doesnt wobble and other times it does. And it really doesn't "wobble" in the sense it more like just jitters at times. Is it just a normal cougar jitter or yall's cars don't even jitter at all at the steering wheel?

You've got aftermarket wheels. It's a possibility the shop dropped your hubcentric ring and your wheel is not centered on the hub. It happens.
