Re: Car won't start

Did you pull a plug out and see if you have spark at one of the 'do not start' times?

Re: Car won't start

I didn't have time to check earlier this morning because I had to go to work, but they're cutting hours all around the store so I'm back home for the day. I'll check that now, Wade. Also gonna check with the OBD-II scanner and see what I get (apparently the CEL light isn't working so I could have been having a CEL this whole time and I didn't know.

Re: Car won't start

I laughed at the fact my EGR is Houdini, its both insufficient AND excessive! Still doesn't really tell me why the car won't actually START though.

Royce told me today someone mentioned something about maybe some sort of cam position sensor being bad, and causing the car to not fire because it can't find the timing? Sounds strange, but at this point I've exhausted everything I can think of...

Re: Car won't start

I'd think you'd have a CEL for that though. I did when I forgot to plug mine in after the engine swap

Car still started fine though.

Re: Car won't start

Does ANYONE have any ideas? The CEL's also concern me because I have to renew my registration very soon and go through emissions. If I have any codes, I won't pass. And seeing as my CEL light bulb appears to be out, I can't be sure if the damn light has come back on when I drive over to the emissions station.
