Wade, if it starts tonight, trust me, I'm NOT shutting it off until I'm home, lol.
not sure. 1st time car was still under warranty, and the ford garage just needed to reprogram the key(s). They had me bring both my regular key and the spare in, and said the other worked fine, so dont know if the module reads each key as individuals, or what. IDK...
2nd time the problem went away on its own. was over new years eve weekend, and while it's behaved since, like i said earlier, I still have both key chains in my bag Im sure as soon as I leave the house with only one, it'll do it again.

and note to self... do not touch ANYTHING in bobby's car

Re: Car won't start

Car made it back to Phoenix fine, but then again it was mostly downhill so it wasn't being pushed too hard (avg'd 33mpg @ about 80mph, w00t!). I did have to go up one big hill though, and I felt the car stumble and hesitate a couple times. Once I cleared the hill though, everything ran fine. I'll go ahead and try the coilpack if I find my spare one just because its free and takes like 15 minutes, but the next step I think is to see what kind of fuel pressure the pump is giving and see if its intermittently starting to go out.

Oh, and I'm proud of myself, I drove for 2 hours without having to pee along the way...

I can't even imagine you dumping your car on an unsuspecting buyer. The problems would never end.

Re: Car won't start

Well I replaced the coilpack last night and it started up fine, so I thought I'd found my problem. Just went to leave for work, and now it wont freaking start again. Wonderful...

Anyone got ANY ideas for me to try?
