Killing Optimas
The last two years when I have got my car out of storage the optima was **** when I got it back out it won't take a charge or anything? I even had the car gutted this time no cd player or hvac?

i replaced my optima twice.
luckily i got it at Autozone and they didnt ask any questions. yellow or red top? i heard that theres more problem with the yellowtop than red.

u could try the blue top, its a marine, and its ment to be charged and drained ...and i would guess its ment to hold its charge over long peroids( since boating can be seasonal)

blue's are good for storage, not to say the autozone guy isn't a man of vast knowledge on batteries, but going from what so many boat owners are telling me. i'ld go with a blue top if you plan on storing it.
