Re: Help... No heat or Air 123 or 4
I think I am having the same problem, I don't get any heat. It seems to me that it just blows out air that is the same temperature that it is outside. Is that the blower motor? How do I check? What else could it be?

Re: Help... No heat or Air 123 or 4 Update please read
So, my cougar still has NOTHING! No air all fuses are good and I replaced the resistor 2 months ago.
Some for a week it would work in the morning and then not after that at all starting the car. making me believe that it was a "short" some where. Any thoughts or do I buy the $90 blower motor and replace it. My volt meter is 3 hours away on the boat so I cant check that. I took it to merchants and they did some AC check and said there was a "electrical problem" because it didnt register. I would like to smack them and say yes some portion of the system failed that is why it doesnt work. and the HVAC system has a numer of electrical components. What a waste of 50 bones.

I'm having the same issues right now. I even bought a brand new blower motor, no dice. When I checked the wires going into it before, it was getting power, but now, it's not even getting powered. Checked all fuses as well. I'm guessing there's a short in a wire somewhere or disconnection.

Re: Help... No heat or Air 123 or 4 again
So for some random reason it started working and has been fine until this morning.
It is 29 degrees out and I cant go to work because the window is all fogged up. How nice! When the car is at temp, you can feel the hot or cold air depending on the temp. The damn thing just does'nt blow. Any ideas before I take it to my dealer. LAST RESORT!

Re: Help... No heat or Air 123 or 4
Can you hear the fan running? If so, then the motor and switches are fine, and it's probably a blockage (filter, damper, etc).
If not, then it's probably either the blower motor or the switch in the dash - some sort of electrical problem (usually it's the resistor but you've already replaced that). Of those two I'd say the motor is more likely.
