Just thought I would input that today I went to the quaker city raceway, for the very first time for a show. Very nice area. I met up with Caterina(bought his old ww side skirts) and also racerx. In total there were 5 cougars there if you include mine. I will have to get the pics developed and post a few. Racer x FOR those of you that know him, has made a lot of changes to his car. It is bbbbbbaaaaaadddddddddd! So is Caterina's!

When asked by a police officer "Why do I still have south carolina plates, when I have lived in Ohio for 3 years?"
I said "because I am to lazy and I don't like how the Ohio plates look.
He laughed and told me to be on my way

Ok, well best of my first trip to the track:
    R/T .973 (gotta love it)
    60' 2.424
    330 6.764
    1/8 10.356
    MPH 68.13
    1000 13.438
    1/4 16.030
    MPH 87.09

That's with Intake, Type R exhaust and a "High flow" Cat. No weight reduction at all (I'm attached to my spare) I'm thinking I'm right around the same time as the coug....not sure though.

Bah, 3 hours away. I wish gas would go down, or I got a job.

I have an appointment wednesday but I will see if I can make it. I will need directions though. I will be coming from Mentor. I live close to 90 if that helps any. I am eager to meet some fellow cougar owners, it's been awhile...

    RE:quaker city raceway

my first time ever racing the cougar at the track
was at compact nationals 3 or so years ago
    I had no weight reduction
    intake
    crank pulley
    pro-flow (uncalibrated)
and ran a 15.8 in 92 degree weather
honestly I thought your car would be quicker JohnnyRed
are you having any problems with it?
