    No longer a Cougar owner...

That's right...I traded in the ***** for a new ride. I picked up a 2004 Dakota Club Cab 4x4 V8. I have waaaay too many home projects going on and needed something more practical. I hate the new '05 Dakotas and Durangos, so I wanted to get the truck I wanted before it disappeared.

It's been awesome watching this chapter grow since day numero uno. The best part about my Cougar...besides all the good times it provided...is that I NEVER EVER, NOT ONCE EVER HAD A SINGLE MECHANICAL PROBLEM WITH THAT CAR. Even after autocrossing it 1.5 seasons, lowering it, and pretending it was a Porsche on a daily basis. 41000 problem-free driving.

I'm still a big Ford fan, though. At least I bought my new Dodge on "Ford Road" (Maumee, OH). LoL

By the way, I got $10K for my '02 C2. I stripped it of most of the add-ons (see eBay) thankfully.

The 4x4 doesn't quite corner like my Cougar, but it's a different kind of driving pleasure.

Happy trails! And keep tearing up that rice!!

Sorry to see you let the Cougar go, without it (and you by extension ) we probably wouldn't be here!

But happy you had trouble FREE miles, it's a breath of fresh air compared to some around here

Good luck with the truck, and don't be a stranger to the forums.. former Cougar owners are still welcome!

Hey Dan, what all do you have up on Ebay?

    You will be missed!
When asked by a police officer "Why do I still have south carolina plates, when I have lived in Ohio for 3 years?"
I said "because I am to lazy and I don't like how the Ohio plates look.
He laughed and told me to be on my way
