    canton area

    any one willing to help me change the starter in my car before the new owner (kind of new owner) taks possession of the can. please. the sooner the better i may have tonight off well atleast till 4 today. then i work at 1 tomorrow

    I really dont want to pay a shop 90 bucks just to install. i have done lots of things not sure I want to tackle this yet. i can help though.

    The starter is easy, I don't know why people make such a big deal about it. Remove your intake, and then its 3-4 nut/bolts that are fairly easy to access. The most difficult part is then wrestling it out between all of the hoses. It takes a little twisting, pushing, pulling, and some muscle, but you don't need to remove anything besides the intake and the starter itself. Sure its not as easy as a RWD car that normally takes about 5 minutes, but the last time I did one on my cougar it was in and out in under 45 minutes.
