anyone in the cbus area?

i guess this is kinda random, but im transferring to OSU main campus next fall and i need an apartment in the cbus area, jus wondering if anyone knew of any good ones that wont break my bank?

andd preferrably somewhere the coug isnt gonna keyed/jacked/etc...?

I live down on campus, but I'm in a house with 7other dudes. Rent/utilities and all is only like $200 tops for me . Don't really know of any apartments in the area for cheap though...

I used to live off Bethel Rd. It's right off 315 and very convenient to campus and back. You may want to live closer, I'm not sure. It's a safe area though. When I eventually move back, I'll likely live there again temporarily until I get a house.

Campus is a bad place for cars in general.

oh i know that campus is bad, i do NOT want to live on campus if i can help it.

like 15-20 min away is fine, thats wat i drive now to school. Im not too familiar with the columbus area, just Dublin, and thats it. And dublin is wayyy to expensive for my budget, didnt know if anyone knew of any deals or to just trudge through the online listings some more :/

In that case, the Bethel Road area would be a pretty good spot to look. It's NEAR Dublin, but closer to Campus. Also Henderson Road and Kenny Road, all in generally the same neighborhood.

I lived in Dublin too and it's pretty expensive for what it is.

This is where I stayed. Only thing I had to gripe about was goose poop.

i really liked those island club apartments but i couldnt find a price for a one bedroom? hmm ill def keep em in mind tho.

Yea. The price on those shot up a bit over the years. I was paying a few hundred dollars less then that, albeit it was 5 or so years ago. There are plenty of other apartments around that area though you can shop around. I don't know your price range though. I lived in the 'ghetto' for the first couple years with 3 other people to bring down living costs.
