Okay folks, it's about time i get this shiznit started. Lisa is right and we need a meet. And i'm offering up my place!

I will be hosting a Halloween/birthday party on October 18 - 19.

If your wondering whose birthday it will be it is my 27th on the 19th...so you better bring presents or John will ban you...j/k. Coincidentally, if nadthomas and slade can make it their birthdays aren't far from mine. So it can be a joint birthday party for us. My mother's birthday is also in October, lol.

There is plenty of sleeping space. I have two spare bedrooms and one of them has a bed, a single twin (i think). I also have a recliner somebody can kick back on and if somebody wants to my computer chair is kinda comfy as well. Or, if your in the camping mood, there's tons of room to pitch a tent out in the yard...just don't do what i did at Jagedfest and pitch a tent that's older than the dirt your setting it up on...however i do not know if the weather will be warm weather during this time so plan to bring a few extra blankets if you do sleep outside. Oh, don't forget blankets and pillows for yourself since i don't really have any spares. My shower is open to anybody as well, but please bring a towel and anything else you will need other than soap...i've got plenty of that, lol.

Activites:
Bring a costume if you like, it is a Halloween party, after all.
I have a volleyball net but need to get a volleyball.
I have horseshoes set up and ready to go as well.
Later on in the night we'll set off a bonfire. I've got tons of wood that i've been saving up over the winter just for this purpose (see pics).

Since i can't afford to feed everybody let's make this a potluck. We'll get a list going of who is bringing what. I have a grille but have no idea what shape it is in. I think i remember them saying it needs a couple new parts. If that isn't usable then i do have a stove top griddle that can be used as a substitute. If you plan on drinking please bring your own alcoholic beverage and a cooler, i do have a second fridge in the garage if we need it. I am also very limited on chairs so bring one for yourself.

You know, the funny part is i'm just now realizing that the planned bonfire is completely fitting due to the name...

8/1-8/3 and 8/15-8/17 are the only 2 I can make casue of visitation. I dont have my boys those weekends. but I could only pick one date. Theres enough for pyrofest 1, 2,3 and 4 LOL

I can't plan that far ahead, so I'll just wait and watch and let you know. I have no plans for August at the moment.

FIRE IS AWESOME!!! Everyday is a good day for fire unless it hasnt rained in about 3 weeks, gotta be safe when playing with fire and remember Only you can prevent forest fires
