A three-car crash with serious injuries on I-270 near Worthington closed eastbound traffic on the Outerbelt between Rt. 315 and Rt. 23 for several hours today.

Five medical vehicles responded to the scene at 11:16 a.m. Traffic was being re-routed onto Rt. 315, Worthington police said.

At least it stopped raining long enough this afternoon that I just finished getting the lawn mowed.

How was it Matt? Did you find some dry weather for the grilling?

Man. We hit the jam just past Sawmill road at about 12 noon, and got to the mandatory detour onto 315 south at 1pm.

I actually thought about hitting 161 and taking that over to 23n, but so did about 450 other angry motorists.

I just kept driving.

we did catch a lot of rain. it held off a bit for some grillin but as soon as people started getting food all hell broke loose. a lot of people that said they were coming didn't show cuz of it. there was a list of almost 30 people coming on the RSVP list and about 15-20 more saying they're coming that weren't on the list and there were about 10 cars when i pulled in. most people took off around 1-2 and come 230-300 the sun came out. that kinda sucked but nothing we can do. there's a few suggestions to plan another get together in the next month or 2 so if there is i'll let u guys know.

i didn't even hear about that wreck. that probably explains y there were 10million cars lined up on the back-road portion of 315 when i left there.
