    looking for some parts and help

    hey guys, i'm in the process of getting another cougar w/ a 2.5 in it. it's got a stock motor right now so i'm looking to do some upgrades. anyone have some parts laying around or know of a local junkyard w/ any parts? here's the thread w/ some more info.

    svt/ 2.5 performance parts

    i'm also looking for some helpful info and suggestions in the area of 2.5L performance. i know other than greg w/ the zx2, i'm the only 2.0 guy here in ohio and u guys have dome some real nice stuff to ur cars so i'm hoping u guys can help me out.

    just boost the 2.0 you have more of an aftermarket, and you can boost the piss out of it

    There are like 5 Duratec Contours and Mystiques over at Pick n Pull right now. And one Cougar V6 with a missing tranny.

    I agree with dropthatscort. I think you will get more power out of a 2.0 if you boost the piss out of it. the 2.5....swap a 3L.

    i'm gonna keep the 2.0 cougar and also get another cougar that has the 2.5and no i didn't get rid of the wing. it's still on the current cougar. and u can dog on it all u want cuz i don't care cuz i like it and think it looks good. u don't like it, then don't put one on ur car.

    also, i know boosting the piss out of the 2.0 would b money well spent, but i'm not asking about that. as u can see in my first post, i'm looking for 2.5 parts. i didn't mention 2.0 turbo or 3.0 stuff so please keep those comments for another thread. i'm looking for 2.5 help since i've never dug into a 2.5 so if u can't help then please go elsewhere. thanks

    I could probably find you a SVT TB, i'll let you know. You know what year this Cougar will be? So I know to look for a SVT LIM.
