W00T! My CEL is gone finally. I got a 6-dollar oxygen sensor at the Yard about 10 days ago, and it FINALLY WENT OUT yesterday. I didn't reset the battery, because I wanted it to go out on its own. Took a while, but its clean!

Gas mileage is up, pinging is gone, the idle smoothed out, and I got my horsepower back! Hooray for no CELs!

I got mine out too...for the time being anyway. Now if I could just get rid of this surging problem.....

Exactly. I'm going to have to bite the bullet and take it to the dealership for some diagnostic time to find the cause of the surging...if there is a CEL on it will just make all the harder to find the true problem.

Sorry to hear that Wade. When does it do it? Mine would do that at certain times, but I haven't had a problem in a long time. Kind of a bucking, but only on start up and under light acceleration. Pretty much after I swapped the uim it stopped. Hopefully it's 100 dollars well spent.

Roush wanna-be was an ATX, no? Aren't the half-shafts different between ATX and MTX? Might want to check that.
