Re: Ohio BS thread!
Hey Tygerr, when you had your windshield wiper problems on the Cougar, did the problem turn out to be loose grounds under the battery tray?
I'm having an intermittent windshield wiper problem on the Cougar too, and since I did the battery relocation and have moved a lot of the wires under the tray, thought that might be my problem too. Any insight?

Re: Ohio BS thread!
Yes Mark. I somehow broke off the ground wire for the wiper motor when I did my cold air intake install. Perhaps your's has a weak contact.
I simply found the wire (which was hanging loose, as small black one iirc) and re-attached it to the car's chasis. Pretty scary finding out you're wipers don't work when you're doing 70 down the freeway and it starts pouring rain.

Cool, thanks. I hope that's what it is, since it sometimes happens, and sometimes doesn't, and it just started in the last week or so. Definitely not fun at night! I need to spend some time checking it out this weekend.

Re: Ohio BS thread!
Sounds good. It's really easy to get to that wire. They used those cheap loop crimp connectors and that's what was disconnected. The motor is right against the firewall on the passenger side iirc.
Anyway, to be on the safe side. I'd rain-x the hell out of you're windshield until it's fixed.

Re: Ohio BS thread!
So I got into Columbus for ROTR last night. This **** is going to be insane.
We spent all day setting up and doing some testing of our webcast with the synclive.com people, and everything went GREAT. The bandwidth these people have is insane...they can handle up to almost a million viewers of the webcast. There are players embedded all over CageRattle.com, and on my myspace page if anyone wants to watch any of the interviews. The webcast starts at noon and will run until around 9 on both Saturday and Sunday, and we have almost every band booked for interviews, and will have a lot of acoustic performances as well. This is going to rock!! \m/ |
