Location Proposals
As requested: If you have a location in mind, please present it to us. OT crap will be deleted. This will go just like the cougarfest proposals thread.
Simply.... Location: Give it to me straight. Hotel: Make sure they know there's going to be noisy drunk people. Rates, group rates, conference room for us to use? Need lots of info.. Parking Lot: It needs to be big... Amenities: What are we going to do aside from hangin out and drinking? Go-cart track, mini golf, what? Food: Where da good eats? Track info: What track, how far from hotel, 1/8 or 1/4, etc.

Re: Location Proposals
Location: Louisville, KY
Hotel: Hampton Inn, less than a mile from Stanaford Field Int'l Airport, directly across the street from Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom. They have a large parking lot in the back (I told her straight forward that we are going to be drunk and loud), they do have group rates (i wont know until tomorrow) but their regular weekend rates are 109/night. Parking Lot: Big, if not big enough for $5/car we can go across the street to the Fair and Expo Center Amenities: Kart Kountry, 1.5 mile gokart track (15 miles from hotel), Ohio Valley Dragway (1/8 mile, 10 miles from hotel) Six Flags (walking distance) and I'm going to talk to my SCCA pal about setting up an AutoX event or class just for us. There is also a 'reball' range near by, its an indoor paintball facility. Instead of paintballs they use rubber balls, its called Open Range and it's also a gun range for any of you who care to fire off a few rounds. The Louisville Slugger Museum, we also have the Muhammad Ali Center. Food: Louisville, The most restaurants per capita? I'm not sure but its up there! There plenty of Papa Johns Pizza in town (this being the PJ's hometown), Arby's is close, but the good stuff is creeping all over, Ruth's Chris , Skyline Chili, Backyard Bugers (I work there and could get us to cater one night), TGI Fridays, Ernestos, my house lol, whatever your heart desires (except for Bojangles), we are also one of the few cities that has White Castles AND WaffleHouse!!!! Gotta Love the Mason-Dixon line... historic places to eat such as Claudia Sanders' Dinner House and The Old Spaghetti Factory.Track info: Ohio Valley Dragway, 1/8 mile, to be honest, its kind of slick, I couldn't get a hold of them today but will update my proposal when I do.

Re: Location Proposals
I'd be interested in Daytona or Orlando. I think that the more southern you go the less likely we are to have anyone come down.

I agree to the Daytona/Orlando suggestion. Great location.
