Failed the Etest again!! %$@# %$@# @#$%

I re-tested and passed nearly everything with FLYING colors. The only fail I had was the HC ppm under dyno load. The limit is 60 and I got 74. Everything else was WAY under the limit. He recommended I change the other upstream O2 sensor as they are usually done in pairs so the computer doesn't miscalculate a wrong balance because one is stronger than the other. Past that, I've done EVERYTHING else recommended by people and I'm now scratching my head.

Does anyone know where I can find the other upstream O2 sensor? I did the one at the top under the coilpack. Where's the other?!?

The front manifold has two in it; it's the upper one; it's above the oil filter. Best reached from underneath.

OK. I changed that O2 sensor. Does anyone have ANY other suggestions of something I could fix / change / do to help with my hydro-carbon emmisions?????? I'm retesting at 11:00am tomorrow morning so now's my chance to get it right. I don't know what else I can do if it's a fail again tomorrow. Cougarfest will become a fading dream if that happens.

slipping a 50 doesn't help much unless the guy it willing to pull the sniffer which will definately cause the shop some difficulty. It's a direct link type system. When my test was done I failed and passed less than an hour later at a different shop. The shop that passed me with flying colors had to call it in once i was finished and make copies of my faailed test and pass test for validation I was there with the car.
