So just an update. I'm about done with the wiring harness. Ended up removing all plugs that had anything to do with A/C, as well as the daytime running lights. A/C stuff was litterally cut out, while the daytime runnign lights was just tucked away out of sight. Also got rid of the hood switch. In the end the entire harness on the fans was redone and I was able to use a much smaller wiring loom. Since I bought new wiring loom clips, but they weren't big enough to fit the stock loom, everything works out in the end, and I can use the new clips I bought.

I also redrilled, and remounted the strut tower bar. But this time instead of using sheet metal screws, I put in some rivet nuts. Much better, and I'll feel better putting it in/out.

Right now I'm in the process of making the fuse box cover become super shinny and glossy, and I need to clean up the fans/housing. Also need to mount the suspension, now that its all painted, and put the CV joints back together (need to rent/borrow CV clamp pliers)

After that I should be done with the engine bay and front end for the time being at least. I want to modify the radiator to move it forward, but since that would only be done to make room for intercooler piping, I'm going to wait until I get the car to Jason's so we can work on that as needed.

I'll post pictures when I'm done with the engine bay stuff...

So are you going to put the motor back in and drive it to Jason's or trailer it?

He is planning on installing the engine, driving it to my place and then we can begin building the turbo kit

driving it is the first plan, but I'm not gonna lose sleep if the car isn't ready to drive there, or if the roads aren't in condition to allow it... I can rent a dolly for 30$, and have access to a truck should I need to...

however that being said, with some other stuff jason is working on, my car may end up being a test mule for a week, during which time the car will need to run NA so it can be dynoed....

actually it's not that bad, they'll ask what I'm doing with it, I'll reply bringing it to a performance shop to let them finish the engine work. They'll want to see the ownership and stuff, but since I'm not exporting the vehicle to be owned in the states, I'm just briging it there to get some work done, I'll be fine.
