yeeahh..the drive home totally sucked yesterday, and we closed early, left just after 4. It was frightening. This morning, not soooo bad, once you got on a main road...they're calling for yet, another 3 - 5 inches Friday night into Saturday....and we're supposed to go to Michigan over the weekend :s

He probablly had 24" Rims on it with summer tires.

My friends goes like a champ in the snow. But he has Snow/Mud tires on it for the winter.

It will be springish for me for the weekend. I leave for North Carolina in about 5 hours. HEll ya for taking a trip away from all this snow.

ya yesterdays drive home sucked, it was freezing rain and then it snowed after that, i seen a few big truck in the ditch so that tells ya it was pretty bad. i still dont see how people can go 50mph in that weather and drive fine?

My truck handled like a dream in the mess yesterday for the most part. =) 4x4 Yukon, heavy as hell, and I just spent over $3k on all new suspension parts and the LS1 upgrade for the tranny... I'm sure the suspension helped, but the tranny shouldn't have made much of a diff, other than allowing my 4x4 to work.

I saw a few 4x4's in the ditch last night. I think it's more the driver than the Vehicle. My Contour went like a champ in the snow. I pulled into work this morning first. Not a single car in the parking lot. There was 3 foot drifts of snow no word of a lie. The only other person that made it into the parking lot was the guy with a 4x4 truck. You gotta love snow tires.
