Oh my god. You do realize that that is like 10 minutes away from my house, if that. It's just south of the Tom Stuart Causeway, kinda off Gulf Blvd, si? Is it off Island Drive? Like right by Little Bird Key?

Just off 140th Avenue, I know the area well.

I thought there was a lot more than 10 houses on those islands though. Unless you're talking about somewhere else.

My parents used to have a Condo on Treasure Island, just south of Johns Pass. We went two or three times a year when I was younger.

They sold it about six years ago.

Cougargrrl99, yup yer right, just off Gulf. Funny, didn't realize you were so close! Shoulda asked you to rent the house after we did all the upgrades from the hurricanes! :P The renters we have now though have been great, the last group -- not so much... The entire back of the house is glass, has two 15' sliding doors -- they managed to break them both. Note to everyone, glass that large is EXPENSIVE...

Mark, I'm sure there are more than 10 houses on the island now, but Crystal Island itself is rather small, max of 20 houses would fit there... But that area also has about 5 smaller islands, were you perhaps thinking of all the islands?

God, I remember when I was 16 cruising my Prelude up to Tresure Island and Johns Pass -- wandering the boardwalk... Good times. Used to go up and rent jet skis all the time from there. Also remember watching the space shuttle launch all the time from our balcony. Was so cool when I was a kid to see that, even though it was across the state...

Now I'm gonna have to dig up some photos of the house... =) I got them at my moms someplace, been awhile since I've went through all that stuff...

d00d! My parents and used to go down to Orlando for March break when I was little... I remember my dad got tickets or whatever to watch a launch from some main area (where media photographers have a clear view to take pictures i guess). It was amazing!

It could of been all the islands, I just remember driving through there when my Parents were thinking of buying a house. I used to rent the jet skies there to. Maybe we crossed paths way back in the day. It's changed a lot since I was young. I'm sure I have some pictures around somewhere to. Same here! You could see the shuttle taking off from the opposite coast. Very Cool!

We used to have a place further south in St. Petes near the Don Cesar.

It's so funny to hear you guys talking about down here!

There are alot of houses down there now...more then 10...maybe 10 on your street, but isn't there a few streets attached to the 'neighborhood'. I'd say there's easily 50-75 houses there on that 'island'

I'm sure the speed limits have dropped by 20 mph or so since you guys have been here. It's 25 now along Gulf Blvd.

And some sections like heading up to IRB (Indian Rocks Beach...traveling through Redington Bch and Shores) have really really horrible construction. And they 'fix' the road, but it seems to be WORSE than what they had before!

Chances are I won't know them....I graduated from Seminole HS in 03....they probably did go to Seminole if they lived on Mad Beach...but it was before my time.

If you know their names, tell me them, perhaps I know younger siblings!
