Re: Motor Cities Chat Thread!
No Cruise
No A/C or Heat No Water channels in the roof No Interior Sound Deadening No Radio (Might make its way back in) No Wiper Squirters (Rain/Dirt Suck on the Windows) Solid Motor/Tranny Mounts 4pt Racing Harnesses Full Bodykit that traps heat under the car all around Hoping that the LizardSkin prevents the heat from flowing thru the firewall like it did before -- it was an oven in my car from the way the airflow thru the underhood area would flow... But yeah, its a hot and bumpy ride... LOL. I know you know what I mean, Jason, not many of us with uncomfortable cars, lol... E1

Re: Motor Cities Chat Thread!
No Radio??? No that's a must. I didn't have a radio in my track car last year. But since it's a long drive to the track I put one in this year.

Re: Motor Cities Chat Thread!
hey john, with your subframe connectors, have you measured what your ground clearance to the metal is?
Measured mine yesterday, with the suspension at full height, its only 4 inches.

Re: Motor Cities Chat Thread!
My bodykit is actually much lower than the connections -- my skirts already lowered the side of the car down a good 2" or 3". (Which is where all my heat-trap comes from.)
http://www.rumodded.com/images/cougar/rear-side.jpg That's with my fronts all the way up, and the rears at 2 turns down from full height. But yeah, the body is still lower than the frame, so I'm good there... Definately will verify this weekend, tho, lol... E1

Re: Motor Cities Chat Thread!
heh, well I joined the no-audio club for Hamillfest... that was a long and lonely 7 hour drive!
my god though...on the way home, it felt like a rocket with the stripped interior! I didn't even have a passenger seat. I forgot what it was like to chirp 2nd gear. ![]() |

Re: Motor Cities Chat Thread!
Heh, I figure if I need sounds I can install a small 50w amp to power the speakers, and then direct plugin an iPod to the amp. =)
