And Mav, you remember last time when I had to do the crazy dive to avoid the lady who brake checked me? That type of stuff just doesn't happen when Matt and I drive alone -- we made it thru a tornado, traffic is nothing...

Understatement of the year!
I love you guys, but yeah... some of you guys are bat**** crazy behind the wheel! None of us drive the same way, and when theres more than oh, say, TWO cars, things just get out of hand.

I don't know... I mean, its nice to get to there, but are John and I the only ones who like taking the time to enjoy driving the cars we love?

In the past caravans, there has been more than a few close calls, instant-jail-time speeds reached and lots of stopping and waiting on the side of the highway for people. I mean, just last caravan home from Ohio... Mel was almost killed because 'someone' nearly smashed into her... Brad saw it.

In all - its not to say that E1 and I are better drivers... its just we'd rather take it easy on the drive down. As he said - we made it through weather that could only be described as hell on earth in water-form, and its total cheese... but, by 'playing it safe' we got through it without a single problem or incident.

My love of cars comes from the cruise -- sure I love speed at times, but I'd really prefer a slow and enjoyable cruise over a rush and almost get killed cruise.

Oh, and for the record, Brad can never take another vacation from work (honeymoon, vacation, whatever). :P

hehhe, yeah... time and place for speed.... and it is NOT in the middle of traffic doing 90-100mph with 10 other cougars

Good Morning MC...actually being busy at work has caused me to miss a lot of conversations in here

As for the caravan, I understand your concerns (John and Matt), things can get a little crazy when you get a lot of people together on the same road. I do agree, that half the fun for the trip (anywhere for that matter) is the drive there.

I'm quite happy to stay 10 over the speed limit, in the same lane for hours.
