I am free, I was plannign on going out to Rochester to work on the car but if you are available and feeling better I would love to have a hand working on this (considering I have one spriain pinky that makes some positions of turing a wrench painful). What time would work for you buddy. No worries about last night I was actually too exhausted to work on the damn thing anyway.

any time after 4:30 is fine(I have a couple quick errands to run after work) and I did manage to make sure the local Autozone has another alt on hand

Picked oone up yesterday. I realzied that I had to buy the alternator since I don't know where my stock pulley is so I have to buy one so that the pulley could be swapped and then I can just brign it in and get my cash back. I am goign to be leaving here abotu 4:00 and stopping at Nissan to drop off a couple of $700 alternators and then I will head up that way if that is alright with you.

LOL ya that could cause a little more of a problem for you than me. My biggest problem is that I pick up a few sample parts the wrong way or hit the a key too hard and get a nice shot of pain for a second. My friend who is a Pianist by trade is always worried about his hand. But i guess when your hands are what makes the money you have to be concerned about them.


I did realize that I have to do my best to make sure that I don't bang up my left hand any more than it already is (sprained pinky, a few nicks and a burn on my ring finger from trying to check out the alternator when the y pipe was still burning ass hot. Lynsey won't bee too happy to have wedding pictures with my banged up mitts in them in 2 weeks.

Yeah that should work out perfectly. I gotta put Mandy's car back on the ground and roll it out of the garage. I am also hoping that the Cavalier will be out of the driveway by tonight. I am also thinking about looking for a place to park the Edsel up for sale, it hasn't gotten a very good response on CL lately.

I think I am gonna just junk it, I can't find an engine and I really don't feel like waiting on someone to buy it as a donor car.
