I am talking about my Contour Mark. It's blue and dirty right now. I still have hand prints all over the fenders from putting the engine in. I also need an SE side skirt for the passenger side and all the jack covers.

If it weren't for so much snow I would be buying and SVT right now btu I could couldnt' put this one through driving Michigan winters and an FWD car isn't going to be my toy forever.

Well considering I am basically driving and SVT in prettier skin right now driving that engine lowered in the snow isn't the problem. The one I was strongly considering juat happens to be a great deviation from stock and local to the detroit metro area. Can you say 3 liter turbo? I just can't convince myself yet. Maybe after the honeymoon if he hasn't sold it I will pick it up and put the cougar up forsale. I am just a little wierded out by a stock 3.0 bottom end (other than bearings) and putting the boost too it, I know how I drive it isn't the most gentle on a car.

I know, I want to see it. the One I saw for sale is Torreado Red. She said the motor had 10K kms on it when it was installed so it's at 110K KMs. Not bad considering my Cougar has twice that and runs great.

So anything in particular I should look out for on the 96 Contour? I know she said the Motor was replaced, I'm wondering about the Tranny and clutch?

Tran's are fine, check to make sure they had the wiring harness recalls done and there are a couple other recalls, I will have to look them up. I have all the documentation at home
