Re: Motor Cities Chat Thread!

Good stuff on getting out of GM. Give me a call tongiht sometime Jason I need to know fish or steak.

Screw Canada then. I will pay for my own healthcare and stay away from their crap. Just so I get atleast some of my money back at the end of the year then I'll be happy I guess, too bad I don't get any of that SSI or Medicare tax back.

Trust me you are paying way less tax than us.

And everything else is just twice the price.

better off paying for your healthcare, Canada's Healthcare is far substandard to the US. They may have better FDA guidelines, but if you go the the ER with a busted arm or a split open head you will be waiting for 5 hours to be seen. You will also most likely be waiting a week or so to see a doc about a sinus infection. and then you still have to pay out of pocket for a specialist, unless your work offers insurance and there you are gonna pay out the bum for it.

Ya I'll keep my $2.57 every 2 week full insurance over that. I had heard not much good about the system. I can't really imagine that the government running health care wouldn't add red tape to an bloated system.

are you serious? that is all you pay for insurance where you are at? wowza I pay $240 a month, but then again I am a contracted employee and the always get screwed. But if all goes well in a few weeks that wont be the case. Direct position and a significant pay increase. That and it's second shift so that adds like 15% premium
