jorgen, one of the guys i autox with is a porsche nut. he has a 944 and races a 914. im sure he could find you one. he may even have one, im not sure

O really? If you happen to think about it next time you see him I wouldn't mind knowing is he had anything he was looking to unload or knew of good places to find a nice starter 944. I am noticing that in the end it isn't going to pay off too often to buy a cheap badly maintained 944 as to do all back maintnance will cost a fortune on those things so I think I maybe be turning more toward buying a nice well maintained runnign car over the winter instead of something that is going to end up costing a fortune in work.

I just happen to have a 1990 Porsche 944 Turbo sitting in the shop -- I bought it about a year ago for $5000, new paint, new suspension, new tires, dash has some sunfading and cracking, but the rest of the interior is clean. Car is Cherry Red and attracts cops like mad... I bought it for a summer toy, and then ended up getting the Talon and Eclipse's shortly after that...

Been through a lot of car crap the past year and really never touched the car -- no insurance, and I am not even sure if the plates on it are valid any longer. :P But considering the shape the car is in, everything working and it runs like a champ, I just can't let it go... Maybe this spring if I buy a different toy (Elise FTW)...

Come on Buddy you know you want to unload that puppy to me. That right there is almost exactly what I would really like to pick up. You have two turbo cars why not just unload the third.

Talon w/ GT40
Eclipse w/ modded 20G
Eclipse w/ smoked stock turbo
Porchse 944 w/ stock turbo
RX-7 running twins (car is a shop car that we've all owned at one time or another)

Of course, ask me how often I've driven any of em? :P
