They have no problem with it sitting around it is just a 3 hour drive across the state to work on the car. But I will be buying a house in the spring if the market is settled enough to suit me so I could bring it over then if it isn't finished and drivebale by then.

It is an 83 944 with a popped motor, 5 speed, 117k miles, a bunch of new parts, mint condition stored florida body, good looking interiro from the pictures. The weighting of it will make for a great little track car for me and that is what the plan is for it, something I can drive on ncie days to work if I want and then use it at the track on the weekend sometimes too. At this point I am considering a LS1 or LS2 swap into it but that wouldn't be for a little while and I would get it running wiht a stock motor first and then wait a little while to get the LS motor in and have a really nice little rocket then. The guy is asking $1,200 but is willing to negotiate on price a fair amount he said he would at least drop it $300 so I figure worst case I would push him down to 800 but try and get it to 600 since he didn't seem to interested in parting it out himself. And sure you car drive it, as long as I can drive the twin turbo or the Dech.
