Those chips scare me, something about a "generic, fits all mods" chip that doesn't sound right.

Me too that is why I asked.

Now if people somewhere can do a dyno tune then flash a superchip that would be nice.

There are people around...jrak knows of one that will tune a cougar and reflash a superchip. I just have not gotten around to going yet. I am thinking about pulling the chip and see what happens.

hmm might just have to look into that once I get this lady up and running, if it could be tuned up nice I already have the chip so isn't really much more expense added.

Well...most dynos will run you $75-$100 and hour for a tuning session, that can last 2,3 even 4 hours.

Or you can come with me to my Mustang shop and let them build a custom program based off from their Cobra setups. =) It's in Jackson, so not that far of a drive, and they have on-site dyno services, and don't charge the normal rate for anyone that comes with me. (I've bought so many parts thru them over the years for various builds that I get the "homie-discount"...)

$200-400 is better and $200-400 plus needing to buy a $250 chip too.
