.... I'm tired...I need to catch up all the sleep I missed at fest... I hope fest is in Indy next year... I miss the hotel.

Nothing was really "wrong" with the hotel... it was clean, the rooms were nice, beds I found really comfy!
Its just that for a 4-star place, it seemed to lack a few things... there was no bar at the hotel, only 1 or 2 people had a fridge/microwave in their room, the pool was 4ft deep and the size of the indy hottub, and the hottub was even smaller. The parking lot was good, but for a meet/party, it was way too close to the hotel, so there were numerous noise complaints. There was no conference room, we were spread out over 3 floors... and missed the rather 'open concept' layout of Indy where we could open our door, and see exactly where people are.


I thought it was a great hotel... just not setup as well as indy for a cougarfest.
I understand how hard it is to get a hotel to sign up for such a thing though! the first hotel turned 'us' down without even thinking twice! :P

Sounds like a great reason to move it back to Indy next year. I feel bad that I had to miss out again on Fest, same last minute bs happened last year too Just have to get to the smaller meets instead.

The hotel was "ok" The pool and huttub arrangement totally sucked. The parking lot was pretty small, and yeah, there was another hotel, basically sharing the same parking lot! The area was convienent...there were good restaurants and stuff right near by. If the indy hotel had been there in its place...it'd have been great.

That, at it was almost $700 for 5 nights.

yes, WAAYYY too expensive. Indy was cheap.

It was my first Cougarfest so i have no complaints other than Ron's "fart commencing" tactics..
