Howdy all,

Had a very good weekend, spent most of saturday at Waterford Hills watchign so driving and doing some riding, Leo's crew was out there with the focus' and such but everytime i was walking by theyw ere on the track so didn't talk to any of them. Then spent a chunk of sunday on a golf course playing the first round of the season. Over all good weekend got out and got alot of fresh air and good sun.

Sounds like you had a nice weekend! It's great to finally have nice weather on the weekends.

Fun story about my weekend trip to the track. Riding along with a friend of a friend on the track. He warns me he is a little slower than some but I should still have a decent time out with him. We are going for awhile not googin oh so slow as he mentioned, topping out at about 100 on the longest straight before he has to brake into the corner. We pass a few cars, mustang GT, some nissan sentras and a few other things. Then alas we are heading down on of the straights and he points out left for someone to pass us. What comes flying by you may ask? it was a Silver Aston Martin Vantage and man was it pretty.

Side note, the car I was out for this ride in was a later model year 944 Turbo.

i was at gingerman this weekend. it was a good time. lots of boys with waaaay to much money. what is the tow vehicle for a 911 GT3, why a cayan turbo of course

I will probably end up at gingerman sometime soon once my friend Roy gets his real race car ready, he is in the process or retuning his 944 sce he dropped in an ls2. This weekend he was tracking his leased/company car (CTS V) which he said was like driving a tank on the track over here.

There were a few major richies out there this weekend the nice Vantage and then the other really notable car was a nice 911 Turbo.

This was my first time out to the track, made me realize that I am in the right field, almost everyone I talked to was an engineer somewhere.
