oh yea they are worthless my sisters had to have a new engine put in afte like 1500 miles...the only good thing was its a lease and she didnt have to pay for that ****...yet

my friend up here works at a Dodge dealership, and he tells me all the time about how horrible those cars are. lol, my friend bought one and she loves it, but then again I dunno about her lol

Yeah, if you drive an American car "normal" they last, its when ya start beating on them that starts taking their toll... I had a Civic that lasted upwards of 200k miles, while taking a beating every day. The Neon, it hasn't lasted 6 months with me. =) Of course, I do drive it like I stole it, since I don't own it.

I find it's hit and miss. Some people have bad luck with a certain car. Others have no problems with the exact same car.

its actually the one thats normally on the cougar [which is in storage now].

I was sitting there the other day, hmmm, the towncar uses the same MAF housing as the cougar... that means the MAF adapter will bolt right up.


I'm going to be making a homedepot run this week and rebuilding the whole intake assembly.

Very true, but this is my 3rd Neon I've driven, I've managed to kill them all (except this one so far), lol... One on purpose, one on accident, and this time I'm just beating it til she dies. =)
