Before and After Pics

Hey guys, just in case anyone is interested I took some pics of all the stuff I've been working on, cause it makes me

to see how bad everything was, and how much Better it is now..

There was blue carpet laying underneath me.. That thing was like a MIRROR!!

Can you say Driveability issues???

And that would be my noise issue! I actually got pretty shiny new endlinks too (which in the end were totally pointless - but hey one more shiny thing to help even out the rust I figure.. ), but they were already on the car before I remembered to take a pic.

That looks like the same catback I have.

Looking mighty good, if I do say so myself. And you changed all that out yourself?

Great job. I did all that to my car back in July before the trek to Cougarfest. I changed outer tie rod ends, wheel bearings, sway bar bushings, and front and rear endlinks as well. What a difference!

Oh yeah, remember you might be able to get some money for the cat, so don't just throw it.

after we put a test pipe on my friends wrx we took his old cat to the scrap yard and got $180

I recycle cats often. You get about $15-$25 per cat. Mine are all precats so maybe a larger main cat is different but I doubt it. I'm not sure how you'd get 180. You can buy them for cheaper than that so that woudn't make sense.

Thanks guys.

I took off the old exhaust, and the old control arms, and the endlinks by myself. But I did have to be assisted with the putting-back-on of the new stuff. But, that's alright. I was pretty darn proud of myself for getting the b*st*rd control arms off by myself!!

Yeah everyone was telling me to save my cat. Do we have platinum in them then?? Someone was saying they thought i'd get about $75 from a scrap yard place. $180 would be nice!!

Yup, there is platinum in there...if it didn't all burn off. $30-$75 sounds about right. I need to take a control arm off the tracer I have sitting.....don't suppose you want to do that huh?
