I dunno..I hear that but pretty much every one I've gotten to know at all even the owners themselves call dumb??

Oh, and poodles are really smart! I do know that. They have to be to make up for their looks.

Both of our dogs have been either border collie or collie mix, so I guess I'm used to the Super smart ones.

I call my dog an idiot out of love. He actually is a smart one. Very easily trained, follows any command he knows right away....unless it is raining, then he turns into the worlds biggest chicken. He thinks he is everyones best friend. Only have seen him get snappy once or twice. One time a small dog came up to the wife and started growling and snipping at her, and boy did he get defensive for her.

Dogs that are afraid of the rain make me laugh, I know a couple.

That's cute he's defensive though..our dog has started to be overly and it's annoying!!

just ignore him when he does it, push him out of the way slightly.

I don't think you would call our dog cute if he was doing it to you. He stands about 5'5" on his rear legs and can run like the wind.

There is a giant hole in front of our house. Only about 3 feet deep and 2 feet wide.
