My poor sad car..

Thought I would take this opportunity to try posting some pics. We'll see if this works..

This is what happened after I was backed into..

And hopefully this shows the whole back bumper, with the scratches I already had. Now I have to decide If I should just take the money and get a whole new bumper or just let them repair it... I kind of liked the scratches in a way..I thought it gave my kitty personality. I always told everyone she got them from a cat fight! Haha..yeah I do talk about my car like that..

The whole thing really is pretty sad though..*sniff sniff I know most people probably think it was my fault..

Re: My poor sad car..

I swear, people should have to re-do their drivers test every 5 years or so. I have no idea how most commuters even got one in the first place, let alone keep it.

Re: My poor sad car..

That sucks man. I have close calls at least 2 or 3 times every day because of idiots pulling out in front of me, driving left of center, and just generally not paying attention. Sometimes I want to unglue their cell phone from their head and beat them with it.

Re: My poor sad car..

So sorry Heidi. That sucks.

At least you found the culprit. My old cougar was ran into and the fu(ks never left a note. All my friends give me $hit because I always park in the back of parking lots. I don't trust other drivers.

Re: My poor sad car..

Heidi, this does not look so bad. It does not look like there any cracks. Thats good. If i were you i would just get it repaired and painted over. I bet you can get a tail light for pretty cheap on the forum or at a junk yard. If you need any help i would be more than happy to help you. And that didnt on the bumper should pop back out if you heat it up with a hairdryer.
BTW, we should all get together on friday or saturday and got to Back to 50th.

Re: My poor sad car..

Yeah I know I was lucky! Everything is all fixed now. YAY! The guy did it all himself, and it looks fine. His dad used to be the manager of a Ford parts store so he got the tail light from there, and I'm not sure what he did on the bumper but it looks practically good as new. N yeah, I'm down for this weekend if that goes through.
