CougarFest 2006 caravan and etc.
Ok, as you all are well aware, Cougarfest is less than a month away. So, I think its time we start organizing a little so we know what the deal is with travelling out there.
Right now, the only three I know are going from here are myself, Justin and Ron. If anyone else is going, PLEASE chime in so we can adjust plans accordingly. However, if its just the three of us going, I'd like to suggest we travel together. If you guys are cool with it, I think we should take a slight detour and join up with the IL guys and caravan with them to Fest. I won't be going out early like I had originally hoped, and I'm pretty sure Justin and Ron were both planning on going Thursday morning, so we can just roll up north a little and meet with the IL guys to go the rest of the distance. Let me know what you guys think.

We'd have to coordinate with them, but we'd probably end up heading across I-80 for a lot of it and meeting up with them there.
It also depends on the route they will take.

more than likely yes.
Wendy can't make it this year and Heidi moved away and those were the only two others from last year. besides ron and karin.

We should check with the MN peeps, they pretty much HAVE to roll over 80 as well to get there.

It doesn't sound like MN is gonna have anyone going, so it'll just be us three.
We can meet somewhere right off of 80 and shove off from there.

i want to warn you guys that this year i can not speed there what so ever. 1 more ticket and my license will be pulled. and i can't afford to have that happen.
