Not As Many Cougars in New England

This is just my theory but, if Craig's List means anything, there are far more Cougars in the Midwest, Ohio, Michigan, than in New England. I'm basing this on how many more listings I see from those areas for used Cougars compared to New England and I'm making the assumption that if there's more for sale from there, they had more to start with.

Ebay seems to show the same trend, not many Cougars for sale from New England.

From experience, I don't see many on the roads near Boston either. My gut tells me that it's because in urban centers like Boston, foreign cars are more popular than American Cars compared to rural areas.

If my theory is right, any idea why there are less Cougars in New England?

if your looking for a car that isnt new and you want something specific. Be prepared to have to travel. THere are cougars out there. Shoot Locogringo finds them all the time. Keep up the search dude. Shoot if you have some cash I might be able to convince my mom to sell you hers. She has a 02 french blue c2 with a razzi body kit, CF hood, and black leather interior., with the svt lite kit, gutted precats, and painted interior accents.

We luvs us our SUVs up here in NE.
Not many people have use for a 2-door vehicle with hardly any passenger or cargo room.

i have no problem finding cougars... buy knibbs mothers cougar its soo nicee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but theres not many around compaired to other places cause there selling so quick in new england cause the dealers are buying them site on scene and shipping them south.. they do biggggg retail down south on a car lot..

I see a few in my area but none with anything done and usually the base model. Some older lady up the street from me has an '00 Sun n' Fun with a busted sunroof. Some chick at the BK has an '00 Spruce Green banged up rolling on fanblades and I see the occasional black & red ones on the highway.

I test drove a red 4 cylinder Cougar in Methuen, MA, has 141,000 mi and he's asking $1500.00 for it. He lowered it to 1,200 for me but I didn't want 4 banger. 978 870 0918. I bet you can talk him down. Drove ok but I don't know anything about Cougars as that was the first and ONLY one I've ever driven

There are a lot around my area. Only 2 moded tho. Mine and 02cougxr or something like that lol. Keep looking man.

well, New England is a very small area compared to most of the other states... Hence why you will see more listed in other areas of the country.

But good luck finding a kitted Cougar w/ a 3L swap for $3k... that would be a hell of a deal.
