Benefit Car Show, Saturday Aug, 2nd

Hello to all. Coming up the first Saturday in August is a Benefit car show for a very close friend of mine who fought adversity all his life. His was parapalegic, but never let it be an excuse. He was a Ford guy, learned to drive with hand controls, would patiently learn all he could about auto mechanics, and was a fixture at the Agawam McDonald's Friday Cruise nights; and even went quadding with us. Last July he succombed to Stomach Cancer at age 33. This benefit is for something near and dear to him, for all they helped him accomplish in his life, the Shriner's Children's Hospitals. Aside from a good cause, it should be a good time. It would be cool if we could represent a crop of newer Ford product. It's convenient to get to, and given the start time of 4 pm, we could even do an afternoon cruise before hand, and arrive together.

Date and Time: August 2, 2008 4 PM - Midnight. (Saturday)

Where: Polish Club in Agawam -- 139 Southwick St, Feeding Hills, MA

Tickets: $20.00/person -- $10.00/children ages 5-12 -- under 5 are free.

What's Going On:

We are having a benefit for a great man that was taken from us way to early last year. We are having a Car Show and Raffles -- We are trying to raise money to donate to Shriner's Hospital for Children. There will be food and Beer. Soda will be free all night. DJ will be there for entertainment. So please come down so we can talk about a great man or just come down and see some great cars.

Re: Benefit Car Show, Saturday Aug, 2nd

I'd like to attend this... Hopefully I'll have some vacation time to use at that point.

Good cause that's for sure.
