ride in the evo

So i was driving down my street yesterday in this podunk town i live in and i notice my neighbors Evo is back from getting worked on. so me n him start bull****ting and he asks me if i like the car, by this time im about to bust in my pants and he just sais "its pushing around 456+hp at the wheel and to hold on while i pop the hood if u want proof". the turbo on that thing is bigger than my ****ing head. custom cold air, headers and its amazing/. its not street legal though it has a straight pipe exhaust and he has the cat cover welded over the pipe so it looks legal. i didnt get to ride in it today cause i spent most of the evening with Jared sisters but im more than likely gettin one tomorrow night.

i wish i knew the exact list of mods he did to it but he said it came to around 10-20 grand. its his only hobby

Re: ride in the evo

hope you still like them after you sit in 1... we went looking for a evo or sti last fall and we found a dealership that had a evo and sti right next to eachother.. OMG what a difference between the to.. test drove the sti. got in the evo and got RIGHT back out. evo feels like a through away car compared to the sti.. it my be just me but thats how i felt. evo does look nice but fells cheappp.. 10-20 grand is pretty reasonable if you have a shop working on it.. if your creaming yourself over the 456hp you should go to the berlin turnpike theres a performace shop that has one with 800+ that was driving around down there... it really has that hp theres a vid of the dyno and spec sheets..
