yeah that is the one that I have. its teh upgraded bov that you get with the kit. The ype S is sthe standard one. althought I have heard that this valve can cause stalling when dropping from high rpm after openning. This has happened to me a few times but I am not sure if that is the case or not.

Re: its on now
a long over due update for those interesting. This project started in March of this year is now complete thanks again to gregs help yesterday.
Yesterday we completed the rear NPG brake kit. I have some fine tuning to do and need new brake pads to complete it. It took just about all summer to get the tune nailed down. It turned out there was a problem with either the way I installed the fuel injectors into the LIM or the direction of the nozzle on some of the injectors. Either way this cause the banks to runs near 20% different from each other. After swapping to stock and back to the 42# injectors the banks came with in 5%. As some know with this dialed in on the dyno at 10 psi the car put down 286/275 on a mustang dyno. So that would be ~315/300 on a dyno jet. It also appears that I could beniefit from a 3" exhaust. So that would be the one last plan for next summer.

Way to go!
Completing your project in just six months shows just how diligent you were. Most people on here, myself included, took at least twelve months to get to the point you are at now. Enjoy your ride!

Re: its on now
oh I have been enjoying it
![]() I still think that I want to get a new bov. joey did say that the drop in boost in the upper rpm range is normal for a duratec. but I am thinking that 2 psi is alittle much. so I have to decide if I find a cheap type S bov or just spend the money on the tial which would mean the kit needs to be pulled and the new fitting welded on etc. oh yeah, since going to an adaptive learning tune the stalling has just about all gone away.

I thought that you have a standard type H and where installing a bypass valve? I wanted to try a standard type H first to see if it ran better because I wouldn't need to change the adaptor to make it fit since it is my understanding the issue I have with my typeH-rfl is common.

ok because if you look at the turbo xs website the type-h34 is a bypass valve. Turbo XS - WRX, STi, EVO SRT4, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Turbo, Turbocharged and the type h for reference Turbo XS - WRX, STi, EVO SRT4, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Turbo, Turbocharged I am hoping although the Type H is similar to the typeh-rfl that it doesn't leak past the oring in the top where the washers and spring are like the rfl.
