Looking for a mechanic that will do a 3L swap

Just like the title says. My car has some issues and I hate how slow it is so I'm thinking a 3L swap will fix all my issues and maybe an ATX to MTX swap as well. Is there a local mechanic that will do this and not charge me the price of a new car.

Stealthyweasel has done one or two for himself, I don't know if he'd be interested in helping you.

Some people don't like him for various reasons, but DanG used to do it, not sure if he still does. He lives just off I-66 in Gainesville, Virginia.

wadespencer99 is in Pennsylvania and I think will do that, too. He's in Wellsboro, PA, though, so it's going to be a bit of a drive to get to him.

Then there's Dom in Ohio. I forget his screen name.

There are probably others I'm forgetting about.
