Looks like the Ravens will be starting 2008 with a new years resolution.

I'm glad to see that he's gone. Why?

Lackluster, predictable offense.

Too many penalties occurred, especially the personal fouls, which speak as a lack of discipline on his part.

Raven's have been through way too many quarterbacks

Too much reliance on the defense. Offensive drive were pretty much offensive. We always seemed to settle for FGs instead of going for TDs.

We needed a fresh new open minded perspective on offense.

He was never an offensive guru.

You really are excited.

In all seriousness, I'm glad they finally made the change. He was so set in his ways that he wouldn't change things that needed to be changed or try new ideas.
Hopefully we can get someone in who can make some changes and get things working like they should be.
Bischotti says it was a difficult decision but that it is in the Ravens best interest. There's an understatment.

There's no way the Redskins will ever be a good team if they don't stick with a coach for more than a couple years at a stretch...

Yes, but the consensus among the 'Skins fans that I work with was that he did more harm than good anyway. Next season should be interesting, huh?
