*sigh*
Wellllll I get a call today saying hey your car will be done give us a call 1pm. Cool Greaaath Thanks alot.... And now for the rest of the story.... I call 1pm and hear "yes your car is done changes gears and all that is working great BUT........" We have a small plastic piece broken on your throttle body *talked to the mechanic tonight he hit it with the chain oh well it happens* As it turns out no junk yard will sell them that small tiny piece of plastic that looks like a 8 that is on the side of the throttle body they will only sell the whole throttle body. Soooo loooks like I am gonna be without my car this weekend also as I am betting they have to order me a new throttle body!!!!!

Re: *sigh*
And now for the rest of the story *prepare for a rant*
Ok get my car back tonight.....There fix.....3 washers welded together (have to admit it looks likt it would work better than the real deal plastic) ok jury rig city didn't say a word just wanted to see what else is wrong..... Upon entry into my baby I try and hit the window washer as I can't see out of it for the dust no go..figured I was out of fluid (later to be found that both of the hoses were unhooked right under the container no big deal probably happened when they lifted the motor up) as I start to drive I figure out I have NOOOOOOOO clutch it releases all the way at the top (very hard to drive I might add) I was thinking ok maybe needs to break in I will drive for a bit. Weeeellll as I go down to the road babying the clutch towards the nearest place to wash my car I notice that even though my stero is off I hear mad crazy engine noise. I look at my tweeter mounted on drivers door and see it is flopping over BROKEN. As I look to the back towards the amps I see the plastic cover where the back seat latches (amps are grounded behind that) is MISSING IN ACTIOON and that both amps are on with no stereo on (figured out they had my remote turnon touching power wire somehow. Ok so after all these baby problems are discovered I find the real BIIIG One I go get gas at wawa pull out on the highway shift to 2nd nooo problem (mind you I am babying the clutch) go for third and smack my hand in the dash as the shifter has all the free play in the world and my car is stuck in 2nd!!!!!!! So if you kind folks on the Western Shore see on the news of Eastern Shore Male blows up a Transmission shop in Salisbury on monday atleast you know the story behind it Thank you for reading my book and letting me vent :P |

Re: *sigh*
That would have me "Mad Pissed", I'd have them fix everything you mentioned was wrong.
Sad that a shop has caused you this much grief after having your car for awhile.
