Just so I know, when I post stuff up I assume all of you know about different terms for car parts here in Britain - i.e. hood = bonnet, trunk = boot, that kind of thing?

Nah, we have enough people across the pond that we're used to it. We even have a couple people for whom English isn't their primary language.
