Aside from the fact that I find it funny the "badass pirates" dropped their panties and gave up, I do always appreciate military terminology for simple things:

"kinetic strikes on non-compliant targets"

"You don't do what we say, we shoot you/hit you/hurt you"



I'm trying to picture someone at a bar saying "If you don't employ more sociable language with that young female human, I will employ a kinetic strike against you as a non-compliant target!"
