Why Lead?
I'm back! And I need some quick help- I'm in a leadership class right now and I just need a sentence or two answer to the question "Why Lead?" That's all the detail I can give. Thanks for your answers.

Re: Why Lead?
Leading displays a level of confidence; when people see confidence they are instantly gravitated towards the one who displays the trait. They then naturally seek to become more like those who they follow; they want to learn to be confident and by yearning in this direction, they learn purpose, dedication, maturity, and overall they benefit the goal of the original leadership position.

Re: Why Lead?
Great achievements are gained, not by those who are among the herd, but by those who tend it and guide it to safety.
or There is only one feeling greater than being a member of a superior team and that is the feeling of leading the team to victory. or One can participate for joy but one leads for satisfaction.

Re: Why Lead?
Because when you lead, you influence others to accomplish an objective and direct the organization in a way that makes it more cohesive and coherent. idk lol it was worth a shot.

Because it's cheaper than steel. And it holds dead bodies at the bottom of the lake longer.

Re: Why Lead?
![]() Why following is good: If you feel comfortable following, then you feel like you have more to learn! Or maybe you're afraid of making a mistake, and you feel more comfortable laying in the background...in your "safety net". Less confidence, less ability; sometimes following is better for those who aren't qualified. *cough* obama *cough*. Following is like cruising on an open straightaway; leading is like driving up a curvy mountainside. Easy to fall off the edge unless you've got the kahunas and a beast of a car. ![]()
