i like earl grey...'s good with honey. unless you are somehow talking about a completely different, five leafed, tea.

sweet tea is amazing, mickey ds has some of the greatest tea ive ever had around here, the sweeter the better!! and for unsweet.....i would so much rather drink water.

to make sweet tea - southern style

items needed:

1. gallon pitcher
2. 3 family sized tea bags, preferably louzianne
3. a 2 qt saucepan
4. stove top
5. 1 1/3 to 1 1/2 cups of sugar

• fill the saucepan 3/4 full of water and add the tea bags
• place on medium high heat until it begins to boil
• once it's boiling gently turn off burner and remove from heat and allow to steep for 10 min or so
• add sugar to gallon pitcher
• after 10 min add hot tea to pitcher and stir until all sugar is dissolved
• fill pitcher with cold water and stir to mix tea & water
• pour over a glass of ice
• enjoy

southern style sweet tea ftw its the only way i like my tea! no offense to you northerners but i hate traveling up anywhere past maryland because i have to drink soda all the time....theres no sweet tea! and if a restaurant up there does happen to have sweet tea its not good at all
